Remember when we went to that panel at Comic Con for a movie he was in (about a pool party?) and Tommy Wiseau came out and took pictures with people in line and was really cool?

Maybe Happy Ending: another really great new musical. The performances were amazing and the story was beautiful. The production brought technology and projection mapping beautifully into the theater.

Boop!: a new musical spectacular for contemporary audiences. I had a lot of fun. The production was well done and I thought it was a lovely story (think Barbie movie but with Betty Boop in NY)

Oh Mary!: Oh my god, yes please original plays. The script is so sharp, and the cast’s timing was impeccable. I can’t wait to read this script.

Operation Mincemeat: New favorite musical. The storytelling is so good, and the music arrangements are so interesting. Highly recommend. Based on a true story of a WW2 British operation that sounds bleak but was a clever idea.

Pirates! the Penzance Musical: Also had never seen this show before but this was a good first time as well. The whole cast looked like they were having fun. Dreams came true seeing Jinkx Monsoon live.

Gypsy: I had never seen this show before but this was a good first one. Overall solid production and all-around great show. Vocal talent out the wazoo.

Hadestown: Dream come true to see this live and absolutely lived up to the hype for me. The cast was so talented, the musicians blew me away. Tall Hades in a pinstripe suit skulked around like Jack Skellington and it was everything.
