Okay, so we need more $ to spend on down ballot races? Is that the answer?

What kind of money are we lacking? A billion $ was just raised in this last Presidential campaign. I’m genuinely asking - what would $ be spent on that would make the difference you’re suggesting?

Shouldn’t the standard we expect be higher for an elected official than for a regular citizen? We shouldn’t have to be persuaded beyond a reasonable doubt for a Congressman to be removed from office. Maybe he doesn’t go to jail, but he should be out of government!
