But just say the word, ‘n we’ll erase the circle and toss this goop. The mundane option is still there–y’know, pills, shots, surgery. Yeah, it’s for you, naturally–but I’m /also/ here for the light show. aurelie lights the mortar contents which take on a cyan flame. blue smoke wafts out of the bowl and around the pages as the candles, now giving pink and blue light, float with their saucers around the pair. an unnatural glow emanates out the window. olivia starts to change as lettering on her shroud glows and the magic circle alights. aurelie works the smoke around her arms, channeling energy. aurelie: Of course, with a specialist from the /high magic/ era, we wouldn’t have needed the shroud, which could’ve saved us a /lot/ of time, or the candles, or the incense, or even the circle. But each component makes the spell that much /stronger./ /And/ less prone to blowback. And there’s one /last/ element in my favor… They wrote that a better mage kept half a mind to their spell, and half to their /ambitions./ Easy enough for me! Cause when /I/ grow up, I’m gonna be the one who brings magic back. And /everyone/ will know the name– ???: Aurelie Spellmire? aurelie, now an adult, sits anxiously in a pale green room, wearing earrings and a suit with a skirt. behind her, a screen showing upcoming events lists the date and time as monday, 14th of march, year 1008, 11:34.

what do /I/ have to say?? a recurring question when i'm creating, esp after this hashtag jumpscared me also hi, i have the "can't make small talk" autism :3 inheritor of a million ideas hopes beliefs fears moments yiff surely i can synthesize that into /something/ to resonate w ppl or open a door for them, right? the creators that inspired me--did they know they were cooking?? i've failed to be a christian, an atheist, a communist, an anarchist; at times, a friend, a lover. but i've always made my little comics and i love to learn <-- nebulous socialist thing and this traumatized creature has a limited window of time, resources, & ability. i truly feel called to use it to honor the silicon, carbon, & labor that formed my toys now to share MY perspective! making art at all is an immense privilege! who knows if personal computers as we know them will even exist in a century but like, this is all vanity, isn't it? maybe all creation is. ultimate meaning isn't waiting to be discovered, inside nor outside me so i'll keep chipping away, because it's the only way i know to fully express myself silly magic cat comic the artistically sublime (citation needed) and because striving feels good!! so try shit, get uncomfortable then learn, form connections. you will not miss the passive consumption you've traded only YOU can make the image* you want to see! not ai, not even other artists! *or comic, food, fursuit, music, game, create the thing that you needed to see at some point. then share it! art won't win the revolution, but i think it proves we're worth one. and get your rest! ok sowwy for yapping here's epic skateboard tricks. i love you. like and subscr
