I'm hoping that Alberta can move in a direction where Edmonton gets a LRT extension, then Calgary, back to Edmonton, then Calgary, the Red Deer!

That and NIMBYism with anything to do with density. Anytime someone wants to build something over 7ish stories all hell breaks loose lol

Calgary owns all the remaining water licenses on the Bow and Elbow rivers (in the area). Crossiron almost wasn't built due to Calgary not wanting to build a water line (it's in Rocky View County) and Okotoks has asked Calgary for a water line as they are now at there capacity for water withdrawal!
