I am coming to the belief that the enemy of an old Dem is not an old Republican, but a young Dem, who threatens the cozy corruption that they are looking forward to enjoying the fruits if in their retirement.

Some historical perspective might help. This is exactly what happened with the Great Depression, which lasted years and scarred a generation! Guess it doesn’t help much.

To be fair, they thought the world was gonna end before any of this would come home to roost which is why they’re scrambling so hard to avoid all consequences now. Not sure why I started that with “to be fair.”
