Artisanal. How do you say it?

I bought a pair of PA speakers for $10 each. They were trashed. I restored them. Before and after photos.

Prepping to draw a schematic of my signal flow through all devices, equipment, and instruments. The "I" is just a sketch for another project, it just happened to be the first available sheet of paper.

I have been so busy doing things that I forgot to post about the latest in the artisanal lifestyle of Hand.Werk.Lich... so here is an "R" for your enjoyment...

This is a cable I never thought I'd need. These cant just be bought in stores, they must be made by hand. XLR to Phoenix Block. Hand.Werk.Lich Artisanal Electronica.

Wow! Hiatus festival over here. Dont worry, it was a hiatus for good... behold the objects that have been the, nearly, sole beneficiary of my time... my new PA system! The speakers were in ruin, and the poor amp was bare and vulnerable. No more! Sound test tomorrow...

I made a 1/4"-20 tip locknut from a sheet of aluminum for the recorder post on my stereo bar.

I had so much fun making that light box, I made a mini one to blend colors of light on the go! I even found a random LED trio hiding in my bench drawer...the box is 3.5" sq by 2.1875" tall for a total space consumption of 26.7969 cubic inches. Little framed swatches of gel sheets are being assembled

Studio Hand.Werk.Lich lightin' it up. Found object light box. Wood, aluminum, ring lights, gel sheets, plexiglass (frosted), rivets, paint, and teak oil. About 40 hours time. Also included is my magnifying glass's interpretation.

I added some LEDs and a shelf for the Neutron synth to the oscilloscope and function generator rack, formerly a rack used for the winnower used in the bean to bar chocolate making process. #repurposedfoundobjectart

Studio Hand.Werk.Lich is becoming its own scientific exploration backed by The Hand.Werk.Lich Robot Collective which seems to have acquired an affinity for heroin or meditation or some other source of chill, which makes no sense if you've studied what robot's habits are and where their habitats at.

I got this synth for $15 from a Craigslist post because it had a dead octave. I got all but one key working, which I will work on. The problem was grime in the contact strips and boards, which I cleaned with soap, H2O, alcohol, swabs. I also replaced some missing screws. Fixing synths is fun.

The oscilloscope interpreting four filters, three different LFOs and a VCF, out of two synths, then blended with audio by a small mixer and fed to the oscilloscope via BNC connectors with RCA adapters.
Mixing multiple filter signals into two mono channels to the oscilloscope = the future of visuals.

Multiple LFOs plus audio into the oscilloscope.
You want volts? I got volts!

Studio Hand.Werk.Lich has undergone a major renovation, upgrades, and a revised signal path. The kinks are still being rectified, the drum machine sounds so fat, and we're introducing a new synth friend, also we're integrating a preamp purchased under too-good of-a-deal-to-pass-up circumstances.

Thru-box is finished minus a couple finishing touches. Countless hours and reworks. Exterior is bamboo and brass. Interior is lots of wires. Will post pics of it doing its job when it does...
