This story has very similar vibes to 'the mistress runs away'. I had to drop that one. This story has such beautiful art... but the ML... I can understand why you dropped it.

... at some point.

I am still figuring out Bluesky, how I want to format these reviews, and how I will add subsequent reviews.

Thanks for reading this far. Let me know your thoughts, if there is anything else you want me to review, or if you have any recommendations 💭

...which is frustrating in its own right. Again, this story is not far enough along to know how I feel about it as a whole.

What keeps me reading right now, is that the consequences for the ML not succeeding feels real. His previous actions to the FL will have to be justified...

...if the misunderstanding is resolved too quickly it can feel unsatisfying. The plot needs to be strong enough for me to want to continue after the misunderstanding is resolved.

On the other hand, if the misunderstanding takes too long to be resolved, the story can feel like it;s dragging...

... as a problem, and it is not necessarily a deterrent for me if they are similar. It's all about putting your own unique spin on it.

One weakness of the misunderstanding plot is the timing. This story isn't far enough along to know if it will suffer from it, but I find...

Current thoughts💭: I've read so many of these stories over the last few years that I will probably say this over and over again, but I've read other stories (that I may eventually end up reviewing here)with similar plots.

As a person who likes to write, I don't see that...

but I don't think my reviews will ever be 100% spoiler-free, so here is your warning.

A woman who is worked to death is reincarnated and wants to take revenge on her employer. As this is a historical romance there is obviously a major misunderstanding that as of ch. 38 we do not know yet...

If you are looking to read a wholesome, historical romance with healthy boundaries, this could be something you might enjoy.

For those of you who read to the end, thank you! This is my first time participating in the discord versus reading it.

There are a few refreshing aspects,

Watching the FL create healthy boundaries without degrading anyone else in the process or feeling the need to.

The ML lead isn't possessive, dismissive or violent.

The ML and FL like and respect one another.

... that if not done well can make the FL frustrating, naive, and sometimes downright unlikeable.

I do enjoy a good give-it-to-them plot line probably because I am a recovering doormat myself. But I find myself dropping these plotlines the most.

While the plot isn't revolutionary...
