It is crazy to see people, in the year 2024, still so grounded to the Earth and nothing above or around it. To truly believe that nothing other than our planet has life, or is even real in the first place, is kind of insane. Telescopes should be free to enlighten dumb people.

True, though this is still grasping a bit of a human concept at the idea that that civilization would need water and air to survive. There could be ecosystems with thriving life that don’t even have either of those things, and live off of different compounds instead.
