Am I going to regret making a caffeinated tea at almost 4pm?

Mostly assuredly. But I need a pick-me-up 😅

79° in March in the Midwest should be a crime.

I’m in the middle of finalizing two completely different shawl patterns and I’m half tempted to release them either together or back to back because I am impatient. 😅

I find it incredibly amusing that today is the first day of Spring and we woke up to snow where I live. (It has hardly snowed all winter)

Insane that my best friend lives somewhere so beautiful.

Grateful for this much needed break.

This is my first sweater with 3 stranded colorwork and wow it definitely takes so much thought. Mostly, it’s keeping track of the floats and untangling the yarn that takes the most time.

Nothing like late night surgery on a design because you added more in a section than you should’ve 🫠

All of the ends have been weaved in on one of my new designs! It’s blocking now and I can’t wait to get this pattern finalized!

Funny how, if you have any imperfection in your nails, yarn finds a way to snag on it! 😅

Doing a test dye on something coming in March and, wow, it’s so weird to dye something not blue. 😅

The Blue Hour Collection
When I wake from slumber, I already know the hour is too early. There is no light creeping in from the windows, only the deep blue of astronomical twilight. The clock confirms my suspicions, daybreak ...

Needed a new show to watch while I knit so I’m starting Black Sails.

Always here for some pirates.

Ended up with the day off my day job so I’m busy dyeing yarn for the Blue Hour collection.

I’m pretty impressed with how much I’ve dyed up since the preorder opened.

The turnaround time will definitely be smaller than I originally anticipated which is a win all around in my book!
