I'm not speaking on some pedestal, I'm just standing by my values. You don't have to have the same ones, and that's your choice, but if you think violence is okay per circumstance then I think you're wrong.

I haven't posted one of these in a while (or at all on this platform) but I feel compelled: violence is wack whether you're for or against the opposing team.

I say some wild shit sometimes that other people don't always like & I'd be heated if I got shot because of it & someone was like, "yea, whatever, here's a joke that disregards the nuance of human life, please take me seriously when I ask for your empathy in something I feel strongly about later..."

How do I look asking folks to stop killing innocent humans I've never met in Gaza but being unfazed when some dude I've never met gets shot because I think he says things that are stupid?

Nature is violent and unpredictable enough of an environment to survive in to have to be concerned of being shot or attacked by some unhinged person who doesn't like the noises coming out of the hole in the front of your face.
