A good chunk of Act 3 is optional challenge bosses, the main story elements come from the party members' side quests and the primary objective. Doing only these, and some non-red zones to level up, it wasn't that bad - for context I'm not the best at dodging and parrying.

I had a NES/Super NES, so I only got to play Sonic and other SEGA games when I was at friends' houses. It always looked so cool though!

Some of those bugs are really hilarious too, like one time a companion mage just started floating in the air, back arching, limbs flailing and rotating unnaturally

I don't know why I seem to miss most of your posts, but I'm glad you're loving Hollow Knight so far (except for that horrible place with the spiders haha). Do you think you'll try Silksong after this?

The wheelers freaked me out the most I think, I didn't know as a kid that those grotesque faces were masks, combined with wheeling around so fast on all fours...
