person, i havent revisited it since high school but i always loved that. if it's done thoughtfully it can be really cool! unfortunately 1st person is also "easy" and weakens a lot of stories too

it definitely made it harder for me to get into a book, but some were able to successfully immerse me in the protag's thoughts and experiences, so i can see its benefits. one book i read had the protag in 1st person slowly spiral into psychosis while her friends who helped ground her were in 3rd
