Letting y'all know my wrists are honestly still not that great, with some days being better and some being worse so I wont be doing the charity stream this year ;; I wanna come back to streaming in December BUT I am gonna be looking at things like this: If I wake up with bad wrists and can't stream, I'll cancel and try not to feel bad. If I can stream and one day can do 4 hours but one day I can only do 1 hour, I'm not gonna push myself past my limits and just be happy with what I can do. I might focus on one game at a time for a little bit because of this but we'll see! Ultimately I started streaming for fun so I wanna make sure it stays that way with the added goal of bringing awareness to disabilities. It feels bad to have to put these restrictions down but I suppose at the end of the day I am chronically ill and in intense pain. It's better to have SOME streams even if they're shorter than not being able to stream at all <3 Hopefully my wrists continue to improve even tho it's been slow going!

Unless multiple things get better then I likely wont be able to stream this Friday which really sucks as I REALLY wanted to stream for Halloween ;; I've come down with either a really bad cold or covid as I've lost some of my sense of taste and it's REALLY hurting my lungs more than usual. What doesn't help is my body is so weak that when I tried to sit up from laying down earlier (raising up on a fist rather than flat palm as it's less strain on wrists)...my wrist gave way under me and it snapped forward and it is in a lot of pain rn, more than it has been all month and a different type of pain to show yno, I damaged it via injury rather than fibro pain. So that is...really fun. so I likely will have to cancel I'm so sorry ;; If I do feel better I'll go live but the likiness of that happening is low... I'm still taking November off to rest my wrists but I do plan to do a charity stream on the 28th November (more details coming soon >w<) so look out for that! I appreciate you all being so patient while I put my health first <3

So as you guys know I've been struggling with my wrists, and they're still incredibly bad to the point its difficult for me to even eat. So in an effort to get a lot more rest and take care of myself, I'm going to be cancelling my upcoming streams for the remainder of the month (apart from the halloween co-op stream). That stream might be shorter, it depends on what my wrists feel like. But, also in an effort to really give my wrists the time to heal, I'm going to be taking november off from stream, and if they still show no signs of improvement then I will be seeking medical advice. Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but the way my pain is right now, its not feasible for me to be pushing myself to stream. And so, I hope you guys can understand that I'm taking this time to take care of myself. Hopefully these breaks will be what I need to feel better and I hope to be able to stream and play games for you guys again soon! (Thank you to Toma for writing this for me <3)

I'll be completely honest, I'm just as upset about this as you guys are. I wanted to stream today but I didn't get alot of sleep today because my brother is an asshole and has been shouting and arguing with who knows who literally outside of my room for hours. I tried to get more rest as he seemed like he was stopping but he started up again and I've just been unable to sleep. I'm in a terrible mood and had hardly any sleep so I just don't think I'll be any fun to watch on stream and don't think I'm up for it honestly. My wrists have been terrible all this week as well so the silver lining is I'll be giving them more time to rest before Monday's co-op stream I guess! I'm so sorry to cancel stream, I hope you guys understand why.

I really hate to do this but I'm gonna have to cancel again today. I've woken up and my wrist is really *throbbing* with pain. While I could push through it to stream I really don't want to hurt it even more especially as this October we have Horror Month including lots of co-op horror with many familiar friends! Again I'm super sorry but even typing this is really hurting so I need to prioritise my wrists. Thank you for understanding.

Hey guys, I wanted to address something going on with me. My wrists have been worsening for quite a while now and I find myself relying on my tens machine A LOT. While this is all well and good, I'm finding myself unable to game or do other activities with my hands without using them for a prolonged amount of time. This isn't healthy and can lead to nerve damage. My wrists and hands at the end of the day end up feeling numb and tingly and so I've been concerned I've been overdoing it without realising, as once they start to hurt I just turn the tens machine on and don't really realise how much I have it on. ADHD go brr I guess. I wanted to let y'all know as I'm intending to take it much easier with streams. I wish I could just stream like normal and go for 6+ hours like usual but considering how painful it is to do that, I really need to be careful. For now, streams will start at 8pm BST and I'll go for however long I feel like I can without pushing myself. I will take regular breaks from the game where I might just sit and chat with y'all and can make sure my tens machine is OFF and I'm taking it easy. If I have an event (raid train, charity stream etc) then I will start streams later, closer to the slots so that I'm not overdoing it. After my birthday stream (13th August) I'll be visiting Faye for 2 weeks so this should give me a good amount of time to rest my wrists away from a ton of gaming and mostly, away from the tens machine. The machine itself is GREAT pain relief but having at too high a setting for too long a time can be damaging and I wish to avoid this. Thank you for bearing with me as I navigate this and if I need to be doing shorter streams from now on then I hope you understand as I am still young (32 this year) and I need to try and think of ways to help my wrists last longer!
