Honestly, that's how many iconic lines are created in the first place. Someone wrote a story and remembered something that their childhood friend or weirdo family member said a lot, thought it was fun, and added it to the script. Instant requotability.

People need to both broaden their horizons regarding the games they play AND to realize that genre isn't as rigid as they think they are. Metroidvanias do not have to be 2D platformers to qualify.
