Looking for like minded people who believe in science, math/statistics and data analytics. Former teacher that got tired of being blamed for everything wrong in this country. Be the inflection point, be the change.
I can't believe people eat this 💩 up. MAGA are very, very mindless, dense people.

It would be nice if the federal government dealt with teachers salaries. Feds only fund student loans, student aid, grant funds (Title 1, IDEA), and University research. Taking away the tax breaks for the wealthy will do nothing to teacher salaries. You must work with the state governments.

You are the one who asked for proof. I never said my statement was a fact. I said they (students) are out there. You personalized it and why is that? I provided data from the US Census, but it was not good enough for you. Don't judge people based on your own experience. Your experience is not mine.

Fair enough (no pun intended). Your need for proof (fact, not opinion) of my statement is difficult due to the private sector not willing to show who they interview and/or hire. I researched incorrectly. I take back my statement. I'm glad you post facts and not anecdotes or opinions. 🤷🏻‍♀️

STEM Majors Earned More Than Other STEM Workers
Among STEM workers, those who majored in STEM earned more than those who did not.

There are plenty of STEM students who are ready and able for tech work. They get bypassed because they cost more compared to a foreign student.

There is so much more to this story than encouraging students into STEM. They are there.
