I have some very sad news. Around 1:40am early Wednesday morning, Thor quietly passed away at home.

I hate that I am posting this everywhere, I am just trying to cover my bases.

Thor had a progressive heart disease and a gnarly cancer.

I am heartbroken and lost. Rest easy my sweet boy.

This week we say goodbye to our sweet Odin. 10 years ago he and his brother were found in a culvert. For a period of time when I lived at home, he would sleep with me and watch me play WoW. In his old age, he joined me on my late night walks. I'll miss you, sweet boy 💜

Signs of spring 🌱

In fall '22 I said goodbye to my sweet girl, Josie.

Yesterday, I was in bed with a painful back injury.

The cats were on the bed with me keeping watch while I dozed off. And I swear I could hear Josie's gentle snore on the side of the bed where she often slept and it was so, so comforting.

Happy Equinox!

It is time to celebrate, to sow seeds for the future. Spring is for hope and joy, and although there is much work to be done, that work will mean nothing if we do not also continue to laugh and dance and express gratitude.

I post daily oracle readings for my Fourthwall members. Today's pull was Ohn Furze/Gorse, which is particularly auspicious since today is The Day of Gorse, the day before Spring Equinox.

Gorse is one of the harbingers of spring, and the protector of the Cailleach Bheur's staff during the summer 🧵

YEARS ago I put out Coarse Weeds, the solo RPG about self-love, resilience, and reflection (dreadvoidwitch.itch.io/coarse-weeds)

Now I'm working on another one: Phases. It's slow going, but it feels good to make some progress on something creative like this. Hope to get it out in another month.
