reminds me of the doom eternal discourse cycle about the "anti-SJW" jokes in the trailer. there were 4-5 tweets with 5-10 likes each that said they were excited about the game but side-eyed the jokes a bit, and those tweets generated literally hundreds of anti-SJW videos that got millions of views

it's useful to be reminded occasionally that people who believe in gender roles/race realism/heteronormativity etc almost always think those things as a direct result of also thinking we're magical robots designed and made to only do very specific things that we're also designed to not think about
