Intent, but at the same time, I view lesbian characters as rock solid lesbians, and any portrayal of mxf comes off with the whole "lesbians just haven't had dick" thing. Again, not saying thats your intent, but like. You still have wonderful art nonetheless, apologies for using "gross", wrong word.
