Fun little 3 game 1 dayer in Düsseldorf today. Had a blast playing Thanquols AoR. Nothing but fat rats and meat. Went 2-1 with the boys. Great way to cap off the warhammer year.

The year 2000 I was riding a school bus and an older kid was reading his 40k 3d ed rulebook.
I loved the look of the tyranid models, so he took me after school to go buy some.
The local GW was out of stock on nids, and instead of leaving empty handed I bought this box instead. A classic.

I ended up getting 6th/192 place at Raccon Rumble '24. Went in wanting to go 3-3 hopefully 4-2, but to get a 5-1 and end in top 10 was beyond my expectations. Really happy with my play and the army, and was awesome to have 6 clean exciting games against 6 awesome dudes.

Round 6. I dodged the minefield of bad matchups and paired into Johannes' kruleboyz. A game of dice that could go either way.A lot went in my favor though, and I ended up taking the final game 18-2.

Round 5. Played an explosive game against Marcels stormcast. He full sent turn 1 but the rats held on and then annihilated the golden lads in return for a big 17-3 win.

Round 4 we had the international face off with Will from the US. Close game of back and forth but the eats squeaked the win 12-8 in the end.

Round 3 we flew too close to the sun. Playing reigning champion Dario and his OBR. Good game but obr on the vice was too much for the rats to handle. 4-16 loss. Another beer time and we can bounce back.

Round 2. Played the absolute champ Wippo with his archaon. Super tight game but the rats clinched it 12-8.
