Controversially, I feel A Brief History of Time is over-rated. It perpetuates the 'bowling-ball on a rubber sheet' view of gravity, which I feel does more harm than good. Katie, on the other hand, is brilliant!

I had never heard of this Eric Weinstein before this. Am I just completely out of the loop with modern physics?

Great paper! But I still feel that the hyperbolic tan function for the dark energy equation of state (w(z)) is much older than Keeley, Joudaki, Kaplinghat, and Kirkby. I think it dates back to Corsaninit and Copeland (2003), or older!
