A very underrated band! Agree, “Cath” was pop perfection! To this day, like Haircut 100’s “Love Plus One”, “Cath” are guaranteed pick-me-ups if I’m having a bad day!

Content. Choose content. I’ve been incredibly lucky to have great collaborators on a variety of topics which have resulted in publications in different journals. Never once considered a journal’s score, just thankful for the opportunity to be part of the research, case report, and such.

I think the process would be better if journals informed submitters about the delay. If the submission is very focused that further limits who can do the review. And submitting to another journal, might not change things much. I don’t agree with using 1 review. That’s not how peer review works.

I’ve been on all sides as an editor, submitter, and reviewer with all the ups and frustrating downs. Communication tends to be the big breakdown point and I think contributes to the frustration.I have had a few manuscripts where I’ve invited 20+ reviewers which leads to delays. 1/
