Mr. Woody, named after Woody Guthrie, for a variety of semi-obvious reasons.

This is Woody. I adopted him from a wonderful rescue in November. We think he's an Aussie Shepherd. Herding is most definitely his life--hardwired for sure. It's possible he will kill us by walking between our legs to make us change direction. We love him.

Every year, my wife and her family make Christmas stollen, and every year I am in charge of finding and candying the citron. It’s always a challenge. Fortunately, this year I found it at my 5th stop & 2d Whole Foods. (Apologies for the Bezos shopping. No alternative.)

I think it's appropriate that my first post is a photo of #Woody_the_Aussie, who I adopted a week ago. He's the 8th dog we've adopted since 2005, and it's always been worth it despite the challenges. #adoptdon'tshop.
