I...kind of want to hope this is the sort of diatribe that gets starkly loyal people to face logic in their own mind for a moment and go "...Wait a moment..."

This sounds like it's to help individual victims. I wonder if there could ever be something similar in the corporate world; for companies recently suffering hostile takeovers. A common way private equity bleeds companies for funds is by forcing them to take loans, then bankrupting them.

Can't forget how people prompted "Bet you'd reverse stance on the Epstein list if Bill Gates or Obama was on it." NO! We wouldn't! Because we don't worship oligarchs of any kind - we want to see them brought to justice!!

Anytime America has ever marched police out for some principled political cause, it has always, without fail, been the easy, unarmed targets: Protests, immigrants at home, schools. They’re terrified to take on armed targets. That alone should be proof they’ll never “come for your guns”.

This is a series that has already replaced one key actor (voice + face) for Judgment. Seems fair to expect they do the same here. Sexual harassment is a lot worse than cocaine.

Something people don’t mention much: When discussing fighting terrorists abroad, he claimed: “You have to take out their families”. The host reaffirmed what he was suggesting was a war crime, and he doubled down.

Basically, looking at a full release now with little to no feedback because that’s been my only choice and I don’t have the resources or writers’ communities others do.

Friends have vaguely expressed interest and then not read a single word when I email it out. “Too busy”. Writing groups haven’t given much luck either; they want reciprocal reads, and when I’ve done that it’s only for first chapter or so, with no interest in continuing.

I’d love to have more beta readers, but haven’t had any luck getting a single one for years. At most, I find editors who want four digit payments to read anything. I’ve put my story on shared platforms and received no comments. What are some viable ways of getting feedback?

I feel like there's a lot of social networks where I want the basic idea of blocklists. There's so many dishonest posts on Steam about "wokeness", farming for positive/negative feedback, that I would love to collect up in the "ignore" pile.

“We don’t need to solve problems! We just need to jump directly to a post-solution society!”
Billionaires owning newspapers are the people trying to build time machines to travel to the future where their present self has already done the dishes for them.

Sometimes anime is just too evil and brutal, and you want to relax with a nice innocent show for kids!

I've definitely felt the best of genres will have a little of everything. Moments that make you laugh, intense battles, social commentary, drama and betrayal; romance is just one of many ways to defy expectations as long as it's added in a way that connects.

I’m planning for a release, and have felt the worrying implication that I would *have* to target Kindle, giving Amazon my 30%. My plan was to only target B&N Press and other available digital stores. Perhaps that original idea isn’t so unviable?

He's trying to generate a new September 11th tragedy that lets him claim only he can protect us through massive militarization.
The power of this strategy falters the more well-known it is beforehand.

I really wish for Bluesky's blocklist feature on other social networks that serve other purposes, like Steam. I want to discuss my favorite new game, not hear from the same 100 trolls about whether it's "woke".

When they say the laptop's battery lasts 8 hours...that's the total lifetime of the battery before it becomes permanently chained to power, not the length of time it lasts on one charge.
