Another fun Jim Henson & Frank Oz pairing of Ernie & Cookie Monster from SESAME STREET’s 2nd season. The comedy feels very much in the Muppet house-style, finely honed over hundreds of TV appearances/ads. I also very much sympathize with the message - From both perspectives.

It hurts my brain to listen to this. The entirety of China's economy is about $19 trillion. They all lie so easily, and many people don't grasp scale, so they buy it. The GIF is from a talk I give where I ask people to place a mark for a billion between zero and a trillion. The response is typical.
