(4/4) Finally, RESILIENT couldn’t have been accomplished without such an amazing team here at NYU:

(3/4) Important lessons from RESILIENT: (1) mHealth strategies, like any novel intervention, need to be tested rigorously; (2) if we want them to work, we need more tailored digital interventions in our older patients; (3) some of the subgroup effects are interesting, and require further study:

(2/4) RESILIENT was a negative trial - no difference in functional capacity, quality of life, or angina frequency between mHealth cardiac rehab and usual care. Negative trials are much harder to publish than positive ones, and credit to JAMA Open for accepting it.
