Reaction videos have even made it to mainstream. I was in the UK last month and they have a prime time BBC4 show called "Gogglebox", which is just a camera capturing normal people watching/reacting to other BBC shows.

Those kids are outside at their stand for hours every single day, regardless of the weather and with minimal time for their "homeschooling". It's been going on since the spring and is pretty clearly the parents grifting them out against their own best interests.

Hard disagree. More light after working hours is way more useful than before. No one's trying to squeeze in a walk with their dogs at 6am, but 6pm is doable.

I really enjoyed Diamond Age but thought Snow Crash was too hammy, and haven't read anything else by him. This thread isn't really selling me on his other books.

I don't know why anyone cares about songs written by a billionaire pop star with no life problems or real perspective. Call me when her fiance gets folded in half during a football game and she has to pull the plug on his vegetable body or something. That would be good context for an album

I'm very glad to see this program expanding. Their population is out of control and with it comes more ticks, lyme disease, and overeating of saplings.

I see the right is already succeeding in getting some members of the left to turn on its leading candidate. How did those protest non-votes for Kamala work out last time? Stop rejecting people who can actually win because they don't check all of your boxes; it's how Trump won both times.
