At home within the kids as we all feel under the weather.
The 8yo decided I needed a "relaxing session". I now have to bathe my feet in a too small tray of freezing water with a few dead leaves in it. Said 8yo gives me the hard stare of death every time I dare to move a toe #relaxing

This reminds me of our wonderful Homer-the-cat. He was sleeping in my lap less than an hour after getting home. We had ten marvellous years with him (he was 8 when we got him). He left us almost three years ago and I miss him so much.

The 4yo had her dino/princess/shark/mermaid/digger birthday party yesterday 🦕👸🏼🦈🧜🏼♀️🏗️
True to herself, she got her shovel out around mid-party and started digging a hole, clearly getting ready to bury an annoying guest alive.
Thanks goodness we had a pinata to redirect her righteous murdery energy 😅

I started a beanie recently that included "fake ribbing" made from back and forth crochet. I had to switch to a knitting pattern instead after wasting half a ball of yarn: I couldn't crochet straight edges 😅
Said beanie (pictured) took me less than 2 days to finish once I switched to knitting 😬🧶
