Hugely dangerous ?? What- like a nuclear reactor leak or the rise of extreme right wing politics or escalating wars in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe ? Come on- a sense of proportion needed here. It’s time to stop greyhound racing. It’s out of date.

That’ll do, donkey- only families with kids of a certain age get that reference. My now (very adult) girls use it. Best said with a northern accent, I always think.

When we adopted our first greyhound we read some good advice online:” If you don’t like dog hair as a condiment, maybe don’t get a greyhound.” !!

I recently discovered that my greyhound and whippet drink more water if I add dog mouthwash to it- (advised by the vet because greyhound has terrible teeth) and bonus: the dog pee dead patches on the lawn are less bad too now that the pee is more dilute😁

Our whippet often barks but our greyhound rarely does. The only time she barks like a maniac is when the window cleaner arrives with his “squirrel on a stick” device that he uses to clean the upstairs windows 🐿️🐿️🐿️

Note to self: When buying French house near Albi, check with immobilière that it has easy crane access ( large and small).

This is mealy mouthed nonsense from a profession that can and must do better. Why hasn’t the BVA prepared a position on this already? The evidence is strong for banning it.Vested interests sustain hundreds of vets in the racing industry. No integrity. No credibility.
