I always leave a paragraph unfinished - so when I pick it up and instantly write even if I don't know what is coming next. After polishing up a few sentences my brain is warmed up and in the zone - the stress from the thought of staring at a blank page has gone away.

I had every confidence in my first book and knew I wasn't an imposter as it was a subject I knew well. My current fear as I work on book number 2 (same subject different angle) is that it won't be as good as the first or have the strength to draw people in.

💯% - as a non fiction writer, through interviews I draw on the experiences of people from different professions to so I can offer real life examples that my readers can relate to. I want each reader to see themself within the book.
Writing letters and posting cards seems to be a dying art, but it I write to someone I know every week. I love writing; it's good for the soul. I also love receiving letters through the post. There is joy in each communication, no matter how short the message is. Who will you be #writing to?
