It's kind of like here when people argue against welfare assistance. "But someone will abuse it!" Yes, someone totally will... but that 1 person shouldn't negate the 100 that NEED it.

Or if they DO lie about an event, but it's because they don't want to admit to the actual (legit) problem. But that doesn't matter because if they have to ask, SOMETHING is going on and they need to be supported and given some grace. Everyone needs flexibility sometimes to be allowed to succeed.

I'd really hoped we were past the "Buttery Males" era, but I guess they realized nostalgia is big right now.
