Heart-centered objective #5:
By the end of the first month of school, students will collaboratively co-create classroom values and revisit them monthly to evaluate how their actions align with the shared agreement.

Heart-centered objective #4: By the end of the grading period, students will complete at least 3 intentional acts of kindness and submit a brief written or visual reflection explaining what they did and how it made them feel.

Why am I creating heart-centered measurable objectives for K-12+ students?

Heart-centered objective #3: Over the next 9 weeks, students will write a journal entry every week reflecting on one moment they felt proud of themselves and one moment they showed care for someone else.

By the end of each week, students will identify at least one way the 10-minute mindfulness practice (e.g., “balloon belly” breathing, body scan “top to toes”, five senses grounding) helped them to notice or regulate their emotions.

Deciding to rebuild educational futures now. Beginning a series of heart-centered objectives. 1. By the end of the class period, students will write at least two affirmations for themselves to reflect upon for the week.
