Happy birthday!!!!!

Don’t pin joy like a moth. More than ever remember, that joy is resistance. Take these lessons on the daily and hold them dear to you. Because when that day comes what else matters? Symbols upon symbols upon symbols with me!

Even more so this tattoo for me is a reminder of memento mori, “remember you must die.” For some that may seem morbid but to me it’s the reminder to live every day with all your worth. To take your life in your hands. You have to find the beauty in all things.

Ravens have long been my favorite animal and have held deep meaning for me. That was then coupled with the joke of becoming a plague doctor and taking that symbol even further. Seeing the design of these flowers and a corvid skull together was an instant must have for me.

Yes. And I fear I’m in no way prepared for what comes tonight.
