NPR ran a recent piece that examines the declining birthrate and its potential negative economic impact. While the right exploits the crisis to talk about conservative values, DEI issues, and same sex marriage, solutions will more likely be found in revised, sensible, beneficial immigration?

Trump's speaking from Mar-a-Lago about today's capture of the Madurnos during an attack on sovereign Venezuelan territory. No matter. Trump's US has abandoned its traditional role as champion of inter'l rule of law. Trump's statement is typical of him: bombastic, stream of consciousness bullshit.

Trump is now babbling more of his cringe worthy bloviations at the Turkey Reprieve Ceremony taking place on the Mar-a-Lago Terrace at the White House. Have you not reached the stage of national embarrassment, America, from this guy's galactic unfitness for high or low office? Quel dindon!

Can Trump turn off FOX propaganda long enough to watch PBS Nov 16-21 for Ken Burnstein's 12 hour documentary The American Revolution finally to understand the fight for independence, the framing of the constitution and Washington's steady hand as president? Nope! Short attention span. Won't happen.

Illegal US attacks on civilian watercraft in Carribean. Ideal set up for Trump's base instincts as a nasty bully. Pick the weakest mark available and kick the shit out of him. A fleeting moment of narcissistic control. Marks are poor fishermen, likely coerced by narco enforcers while narcos go free.

Just read about the Vail teachers who provoked a hysterical reaction from MAGA conservatives with false or perhaps intentional claims that the teachers' Halloween math joke was a slander of Charlie Kirk. The jarring irony of their indignant outburst is how thoroughly woke the overreaction appeared.

Watching one of Trump's iconic pressers in the Oval after a visit by a foreign leader; in this case, Viktor Orban. Trump just keeps sinking lower. It's never a session to inform the press or public. Instead, it's a bitchfest re-airing his top 50 grievances wrapped up in bows, bullshit and lies.
November 7, 2025 at 6:17 PM
Bottom line. Trump is mad and unworthy, and after an experiment that's exposed the risk, voters have declared that he's necessarily disposable.

The news clips of Trump's retirement home dance moves when meeting Thai dignitaries on the tarmac were agonizing. The guy's awkward, clunky movements are painful to watch on a rally stage but particularly gauche when grace and dignity are called for. Another demonstration he's sadly a bush leaguer.

Trump enjoys some success afterall. His barrage of recent distractions from ICE to the East Wing has largely stopped you from making ongoing demands for the release of the Epstein files which possibly assign him a starring role.

Netanyahu speaking in the Knesset praised Trump as "the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the WH. No American president has ever done more." This was a stark omission of the fact Truman was the 1st world leader to recognize Israel following the 1948 UN partition vote creating the Jewish state.

Watching the Carney-Trump presser in the Oval. Trump does not disappoint as he lives up to his dipshit norm and babbles ad nauseum. His guest foreign leader has the pleasure of spectating at Trump's insulting dog and pony show while trying not to look bored or disgusted. A serious challenge.

The gov't is choosing to strip health care from millions of Americans

At the same time, the Trump admin issued FALSE legal guidance to allow RIFs during shutdowns

@democracydefendersfund.org, we are pushing back on this & many other admin abuses

I broke it down on @briefingwithpsaki.bsky.social👇

Wrong.
The “government” isn’t choosing to strip healthcare from millions; REPUBLICANS are choosing to strip healthcare from millions.
Get your facts straight.

Trump has so transformed and degraded the machinery of American government that it isn't enough to just beat him or his successor. Someone has to rebuild the liberal democratic state.
America Needs a Project 2029
The road back from here will be harder.

Trump just completed a 55 min. rambling, quasi ad libbed rant at the General Assembly of the UN. It was a magnum opus of his favorite victim grievances. Rich in injustice but barren of solutions or plans to make things right; things he doesn't understand and got wrong. Every word screamed insanity.

Trump promised new retaliatory tariffs against Russia if NATO acts similarly. Ofter threatened. Never imposed. Trump's repeated empty threats have become so ho-hum, they set Putin off in paroxysms of laughter. Putin has no need of a sickle when he holds a hammer or in Trump-speak, all the cards.

Yesterday, Trump pronounced Washington free from crime as he entered a restaurant for dinner with some of his cabinet. Once inside the restaurant he was greeted by a group of chanting protesters, a challenge that clearly angered him. Can't make this stuff up. Your favorite president does standup.

Can't stop laughing although it's tragic, not funny. Trump went to dinner with some cabinet members in Washington and pronounced the city free of crime due to the action of your favorite president. Didn't mention he stood behind a phalanx of Secret Service and National Guard troops as he spoke.

Am watching Monday Night Football - Vikings v Bears - in Chicago. Expected Trump at the game for his iconic salute the flag moment. Like at Flushing Meadows this weekend where he was not warmly greeted. Could his Chipocalypse Now post, make him feel insecure in Chicago and afraid to make the trip?

Justice Amy Coney Barrett was reported to say today that the court should not impose its values on Americans. Wishing her well in selling this idea to Thomas and Alito. If she lives her belief, we can take comfort in her assurance that her Catholic faith had no influence on her position in Dodds.

The dunce of tariff policy is due to call Bessett, Lutnick and Navarro in for a group cry. Manufacturing output has shrunk for 6 straight months as tariffs inflate raw material costs and create uncertainty that's slowing customer orders. Investment and hiring is shrinking. It really is a bad idea.

Does this photo portray for you a man most likely to decline an offer to satisfy primal urges by sexually abusing teenage girls? You, the reader, decide for yourself. To be sure, this photo is no hoax. It's been verified as a shot from a 1999 photo shoot by a known professional photographer.
