Maybe use alternative objective methods that emphasize critical thinking over rote memorization, highfalutin articulate-sounding gobbledygook, or skillful AI prompts.

Maybe it goes back to an issue long relevant but overlooked, back when latin honors were a rare thing. Maybe we are using the wrong tools to measure how much students learned.

Maybe they had the benefit of teachers more aware of mental health and emphasis on learning? Maybe the grading systems needed to keep up with recent advancements, failing to discern the outlier performers from the average and below average?

no surprise why things are the way they are. symbiotic relationship sustains the status quo, despite what good intentions we have or whatever efforts we do.

I still saw him outside the hospital a few months ago, he looked thin but still had the chill and cheerful demeanor. He told me his mom was doing well 3 years after her stroke. But now, he's gone. Rest in peace sir.

That doctor would be one of those random nice doctors that Inspired me to aspire to be just like he was.Fast forward to a few years ago, he referred to me his mom to take care of, He was humble and truly grateful to me for taking care of her, despite his senior consultant stature
