2025 was supposed to be the year I wrote a book about women’s agency…& it still will be…

But it will also be the year my city faced an unprecedented natural disaster, my daughter & I were displaced for 7 (& counting) weeks & I ended up back in the twilight zone of family court & custody litigation

Just got this email from @florenceproject.bsky.social -DOJ ordered them to stop legal orientation projects, including “Know Your Rights” presentations.

Removing ambiguity & gaining info is the foundation of agency.

When our govt doesn’t want ppl to have info, they don’t want ppl to have agency.

Reading together at the beach is peak Thomason family merry. ✨

(While I do tend to read with a pen, reading with a book manuscript deadline does mean more sticky notes than usual. 😂)

However you and yours do merry and happy, we’re wishing you lots of it. ❤️🩷🤍
