Cloak and Dagger was cool, but way more of a Saturday night rental.

At that age I wouldn’t have taken that off for a week or two.

Same. I think none of us were old enough to realize any of it. It was just good family entertainment with some really altruistic protagonists and cartoonish bad guys. I’m not sure of any pieces at the time that pointed out the symbolism but there must be, and I’m actually curious to look now.

Just last week I played Child In Time for a younger coworker whose far more early 2000’s metal…absolutely loved it!

I want to say that whole thing was sort of post-Empire, pre-Jedi, beginning of GI Joe, so a lot of us must have gotten those for Xmas or birthdays that year instead.
