We need to learn from the failures for sure, but hindsight is 20/20. I wonder if in the 6 years since they stopped monitoring if the resources that were deployed elsewhere didn’t do some preventative good that we’ll never hear about?

What was done to him was shameful and should not be forgotten, particularly as we sit back and let AI vendors “fair use” the shit out everyone else’s intellectual property.
