A4 Durham has a great piece of work called Flourish at Durham which addresses the research culture specifically. The Research Innovation Service and Researcher Development teams are looking at development needs at different career stages + we launched the recruitment of our first Prosper cohort.

Me too. Others say/assume I have a PhD because of the title. I sometimes correct them as I feel mine is different but just as valuable. I've asked my team to refer to doctorates not PhDs to try and be more inclusive.

A2 anyone who hasn't followed a "traditional" path, PhD ->papers in peer reviewed journals. Transferable skills are often not considered

A1 for me RC is the norms that exist around research. As a new researcher, and in the SoTL space, I sometimes feel part of the norms and at other times like I've landed on an alien planet we're I don't speak the language or "fit in"
