We bought our first VCR in 1983, a top-loader from Radio Shack, along with a box of 10 blank tapes. I was working swing shift and I didn’t want to miss the V miniseries. We also bought our first movie on VHS that day: “The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh” from 1977. You know… for the kids.
