A *first author* paper published pre-PhD is very rare in the UK geosciences (with 3yr bachelor degrees & only 1 year masters). It’s a huge achievement. Well done @mollytumelty.bsky.social. And well done @palaeostephan.bsky.social for being a supportive supervisor.
