He just married his wife last year who had been a grade school art teacher until becoming his business partner around the same time. Add that the company is kept afloat by his mother's restaurant really adds to the possibility of money laundering, and a political marriage and this is how she's paid.

Agreed on plausible. There's other conversations about the sniper unit using the SS logo and while "normal" there's no reflection on what that implies by those defending it. I'm reminded of the tattoo scene in Starship Troopers, and how for many the fascism in the film goes right over their head.

Other thing I noticed from his Wikipedia is he got married last year, which the timing can be read as a consultant saying he needs to be married for the campaign. Also potentially curious is she'd apparently been a grade school art teacher until becoming his business partner around the same time.

The NFL does at least do that for the markets of the teams playing in the game, but it is a limited area. It's certainly not open to the whole country, and doesn't help someone who's state funded the stadium but are too far from the city.

If the FG was good, that doesn't invalidate the decision to have gone for 2. Regardless of the go for 2 decision they would have lost, as then an additional possession/score was needed.

Getting more of a Kenneth Branagh vibe than Will Smith too. I think it's the facial hair and the cross at his neck.

Well it is south of the Mason-Dixon line. Had the opposite issue though in high school in San Diego where my ostensibly smart classmates in AP US History thought it was part of New England. I think the key is spreading awareness of the concept of the Mid-Atlantic region.

Some really great information on the Rams draft process in this piece on Gladstone. A lot of attention to detail.

It looks like it will be more than 12, but hardly an amount to brag about having a movement. Found an audience shot from last year, and even the venue's own photos don't show it as very large. Based on these, I'm going to assume about 12 rows of 12 seats, for around ~150 person audience.

People would also make the argument that it's not just the contract, but also two first round picks due to the tag, as if that was a back breaker and not still an incredible deal.

They also apparently have ~3 months to decide if they want to move on entirely from Kirk, or keep him as an expensive backup and commit another $10 million guaranteed to him.

Before Goose Island became part of AB InBev at least, but apparently would have been available for Cameron to pick up on his own in the UK.

It's not critical enough, but it's also not flattering. As for the particular point, all their children have been via IVF.
