Travel for family and changed diet means the workouts are different. But I’m glad I found a nice garage power gym. Pulled multiples of 425lb then hit heavy rack pulls. Can’t wait to be back on my routine. #blackskyfitness

Secondary chest day…paused press to 3 second competition standard. 3 sets of triples at 225lb wore me out. Finished with back rows, iso lat pulls, and some time doing cardio. #blackskyfitness

Deadlift Friday. Failed a PR of 515 lb last week, so got advice on staying patient with the deadlift bar and doing smarter warmup sets. Pulled 505lb today, then did AMRAP at 405lb for 7 reps. #blackskyfitness #gymsky

Deadlift Friday…working set of 405lb with singles at 455lb. Drop sets of triples at 365lb really got the glutes and hamstrings tired. Definitely going to feel it tomorrow. #blackskyfitness

Heavy squat session. Working sets of 345lb, then two singles at 375lb. Getting better with depth at heavier weights. Followed this with very heavy RDLs. Glutes and hamstrings definitely got some work in. #blackskyfitness

Back from the deload and working on bench press. Was struggling with the form the last 2 sessions, so decided to drop the weight and focus on my setup. 3 sets of 205lb at 6 reps each, then three sets of triples at 225lb. #blackskyfitness

Today was my Super Bowl. Turkey brined and seasoned to perfection, indoor deep fryer came in the clutch. Sides and dessert worked together to put forth a tremendous effort. My finest performance thus far.

Got challenged to do reverse SSB. Good secondary squat exercise. Flipping the bar focuses on keeping chest up, working core and hamstrings. Gonna have to add this to the program from now on. #blackskyfitness
