The takeaway shouldn’t be about seatbelts. The takeaway should be that there were twice as many aircraft deaths last year as the year before.
The takeaway: for several years there’s been near crashes because of air congestion.
The takeaway is we need FAA inspecting wings & wheels before takeoff.
