Detainees in 3 Florida facilities told Human Rights Watch they were shackled on buses without food, water, or functioning toilets; there was extreme overcrowding in freezing holding cells; they slept on cold concrete floors under constant fluorescent lighting; and denied basic hygiene/medical care.

Protested today in Louisville, Kentucky! My favorite high school teacher, who’s 77, made signs, travelled two hours, and marched with me! She didn’t let her difficulty walking stop her from standing up to protect our democracy! 🇺🇸💪🏼💙
