Fun players I should look out for?

The only time we become aware is during the WBC when we see our home town players go off to play for their countries (or in some cases countries where they claim heritage). It would be great to have at least a weekend series each year where international players celebrated their heritage.

Funny, I grew up pre-DH, and I remember when the team gave up a hit to an opposing pitcher who was pitching well, the announcers would always say "well, maybe he'll tire himself out running the bases."
