Been catching birdsong on Merlin app. I’m impressed I must say….usually it’s just blackbirds but I think loads of others had just fledged from nests hidden somewhere in my small wilderness

I call mine ‘woodland edge’ & it’s very low maintenance…a haircut for the shrubs once or twice a year, plus now the grass as needed.

Yes, it’s also interesting, named for #Achilles, ancient herbal aromatic plant, drought tolerant, pops up in late summer out of dried up lawns. Not to be confused with wild carrot, which I also love! That has more lacy flowers ( and again not to be confused with Kek, Queens Annes Lace!)

jump on park &ride double decker, great views from upstairs…a bike will just get in the way imho…centre is so busy, places to park a bike limited…students mostly use them to get to lectures in 2 secs if they live in the outer colleges. Honestly the centre is best on foot ( as ex student & visitor)
