Winter time is the hardest for #chronicpain, despite wanting to be creative I'm limited.

Sorry for the lack of post but it is all due to a great reason. I have been preparing for these beautiful little ones. We do not have names yet for them, but very happy to have bunnies again.
They're both Netherland Dwarfs and are 4 months old.

The Old Man within a Tree
I'm happy to say the pencil version is done! This took longer than expected but I learned a lot during it.

Daily prompts will return shortly. As well make sure to look out for the short story that goes with this piece.

Prompt: Bird Nest Hat (WIP)
The prompt is curtesy of another artist. This definitely will be a few days project.

The goal is an old man sleeping on his rocking chair will be carved out of the tree and have a nest in his hollowed out hat.

Prompt: Plague Doctor
Historical German plague doctor's mask used as reference.

This piece I decided not to do an initial sketch or lines, and focus only on the shadows and highlights. It really helped me improve my understanding of contrast.

I've always been fascinated by hourglasses, partly due to the design and partly due to the character Raistlin Majere from Dragonlance.
