I’m an immigrant, US Citizen, ER Doc, and State Rep.

I’ve treated undocumented immigrants & still see patients.

President Trump & VP Vance, when I’m in the ED, should I check for:

- Vital Signs or a Visa?
- Breathing or a Birth Certificate?
- A Pulse or a Passport?

As an immigrant and naturalized citizen, I've always taken pride in my family’s story and how we are living the American Dream. What we don’t often discuss is how dependent our region and nation are on immigration. For the first time in US history, we are on track to see a decrease in population.
The US Population Could Shrink in 2025, For the First Time Ever
It's a story with massive economic and political significance. But it's receiving strangely little attention.

Great week door knocking in Emsworth & Kilbuck. My neighbors & I spoke about the anti-science, anti-vaccine attacks from President Trump & H.H.S. Secretary Kennedy. This is endangering all of us.

As our only physician-legislator, I have a special obligation to act. My statement below on next steps:

This is great news. Even with the prospect of an appeal to the Supreme Court, I am hopeful we will see the end to President Trump trying to unconstitutionally impose tariffs that are a regressive tax, creating business uncertainty, and driving inflation.

Most Trump tariffs ruled illegal in blow to White House trade policy
The appeals court stayed its ruling until Oct. 14, giving the Trump administration time to ask the Supreme Court to hear the case.

HHS Secretary Kennedy is endangering our health.

Deb Houry, a CDC leader who resigned, is a fellow ER Doc & outstanding public health leader. Her exit is a warning of what’s next - lies to restrict vaccine access.

States must step up, starting with my bill to protect vaccine access in PA.

These kids were literally praying. Enough with “thoughts and prayers.” We can keep firearms out of the hands of those with a propensity for violence. Time to act.
Frey: And don't just say, this is about thoughts and prayers right now. These kids were literally praying. It was the first week of school. They were in a church.

Hypothesis: A testable explanation, learned in school

Science: Evaluate evidence to test your hypothesis

RFK, Jr: Unscientific - will never accept evidence that rejects his hypothesis that vaccines are dangerous.

America: Health at risk due to RFK, Jr’s ignorance.

President Trump brags about the Big Ugly Bill & Tariffs.

They are reducing the income & resources of all but the richest Americans.

The poorest will see $2700 less/yr in income & 7% less/yr household resources.

We must end these Robin Hood-in-Reverse policies.

PennDOT has confirmed this story & terminated the employee.

While there has been an appropriate resolution, I’m saddened that politicians, starting with the President, use rhetoric that treat opponents as enemies, ‘inspiring’ incidents like this. We must do better.

This is voter intimidation. It is a direct result of rhetoric from leaders like President Trump who treat their fellow Americans as enemies.

I am proud to stand with this brave young lady to demand an immediate investigation and consequences for this cowardly act.

Inevitably Orwellian - Don’t like the facts, fire the messenger.

Facts, like our deteriorating economy, are stubborn things. President Trump does not get “Alternative Facts.”

All Americans need to raise their voices and vote in every election starting this year to end this craziness.

As an ER Doc, I have seen patients die from lack of insurance. This bill make that happen again.
