Maybe that's the solution to this - they can come to Birmingham but they sit in the stands at St Andrews while the game's played at Villa Park.

Hampshire/Solent will be interesting on this score, three cities and three big councils who all think they're the most important. They've not even put together a proposal yet and Hants CC are already trying to dictate terms to Soton & Pompey.

Suella Braverman herself put a leaflet through our door today, notable for a total lack of party branding or policies. Was a combination of local things you'd expect from a council election, plus a bit of "I'll say the unsayable to the wokerati". Also interesting that she wasn't talking to anyone.
