Spending $45 million to fire your second-winningest coach because of three consecutive losses is just gross and unacceptable no matter how you look at it.

I’d love to hear how they see this decision being connected to their mission as a land-grant university.

I got dirty looks when I asked what the denominator was to get to 100%. Is it the actual number of hours we work, or is it a false 40 regardless (it was the latter). I also asked why classes are 10% of workload but we bill 12.5% to grant sponsors. That also was not a well-received question.

There’s one in our area that has a bar and a legit smokehouse setup. Folks will just go there for lunch, buying no groceries. Maybe I’m just not getting the ambience of it all 🤷‍♂️
